Rare 1952 Geological map of Australia and New Guinea / compiled in conjunction with State Geological Surveys and with the help of Universities by the Map Compilation Group, Geological Section, Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics, under the direction of the Chief Geologist. Published by the Royal Australian Survey Corps.

I can not find any other copies of this map for sale so is rare.. The National Library of Australia has a copy which can be seen here..

This is a folding map as can be seen in the photos especially the last photo showing the back.

This map would look amazing framed and on display once it has been flattened/pressed. The colors are quite something.

SIZE: The full page is approx. 41 x 31 inches

CONDITION: For its age and size for a folding map I would describe as good condition. As usual there are some small holes in the fold corners. Also some mild staining spots can be seen. Apart from that a wonderful and rare map to frame and enjoy looking at. Please study the detailed photos for condition before purchase or ask for more photos. Thanks
