Miss Pippa Deakin, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Timothy Deakin, of The Homestead, Rickinghall, Suffolk, is to be married to Major Peter Hunter, The Life Guards, elder son of the late Lieutenant-Colonel David Hunter, MC, Royal Marines, and of the late Mrs Hunter, of the Bahamas. A former winner of Entrepreneur of the Year, Pippa founded Pippa Pop-ins, the children's hotel and nursery schools in Fulham. She celebrates her birthday today, and is shown here with her lhasa apso terriers, Poppy and Hatty.
