This rare 1719 Allain Manesson Mallet "Portrait" Antique Print is from "Beschreibung des ganzen Welt Kreises....", a German translation of Mallet's "Description de L'Univers." publisher: Johann Adam Jung in Frankfurt.
DATE PRINTED: 1719 so is 297 years old. This was printed from a copper engraved plate on handmade paper.
SIZE: Printed area approx 14 x 10cm's on a page 20 x 16.5 cm's.
CONDITION: The reverse side of page has old handwriting on in pen (see scan).
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Please note that this is a rare antique engraving & was actually printed in 1719. This is not a modern reproduction.
