Sir Simon Gourlay, seen here at his farm on the Welsh Borders, is the new president of the Guild of Conservation Food Producers, whose members farmers, manufacturers and processors produce foods using a traditional, less-intensive farming system which takes into account the welfare of livestock and conservation of habitats, natural resources and the environment.
