Miss Sam Sopwith, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Tommy Sopwith, of Axford House, Axford, Hampshire, is to be married to Mr Christopher Seherr-Thoss, eldest son of Mr Henry Seherr-Thoss, of New York, and of Mrs Consuelo Hutton, of Palm Beach, Florida. Sam is an artist. She specialises in portraits and animals, and when not mountaineering or skiing, can be found in her studio in the Gas Works, off the Kings Road, SW6.
