Miss Madeleine Crewe-Read - Madeleine, who celebrates her 18th birthday today, is the younger daughter of Mr Christopher Crewe-Read, of Withington, Gloucestershire, and of Mrs Belinda Hadden, of Parsons Green, SW6. She is currently studying for A levels at Millfield, and hopes to teach sailing in Italy this summer-she is a Royal Yachting Association dinghy instructor. On her return, she will read Italian at university.
