The featured frontispiece this week is a portrait of Lady Chamberlain, whose appointment to be Dame Grand Cross of the British Empire was announced on December 1st, when her husband, Sir Austen Chamberlain, received the honour of Knighthood of the Garter. Lady Chamberlain is a daughter of the late Colonel Henry Lawrence Dundas, East Yorkshire Regiment, was married in 1906, and has two sons and a daughter.
