Lady Fiennes, This month Virginia, Lady Fiennes, wife of Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, was awarded the Polar Medal in recognition of her not inconsiderable contribution to the 1979-82 Trans Globe expedition. She is the first lady member of the Antarctic Club
