Mrs Bear Grylls and Miss Nima Grylls - Shara, a former kindergarten teacher, is shown here with her labrador Nima, a member of the executive canine committee of Macmillan Dog Day, held earlier this month. Nima appeared on COUNTRY LIFE's frontispiece on July 4 in support of the event, which has so far raised more than £25,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief. They live with Shara's husband, Bear, on a houseboat on the Thames at Battersea.
