Miss Sophie Orme - Sophie, aged 26, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Christopher Orme, of The Beeches, Littlethorpe, North Yorkshire. She graduated from Newcastle with a degree in history of art and Spanish, and is now an analyst for Strand Partners. Sophie is helping to organise a concert featuring four international opera stars led by Robin Leggate, to be held at Warden's Trust, Thorpeness, Suffolk, on September 4, in aid of the Robert Orme Memorial Project. She is seen here at home with her retriever, Pemba.

This is an authentic original page from Country Life magazine, part of the iconic series often affectionately referred to as the “Girls in Pearls” portraits — elegant society images that captured a distinctive era of British publishing and portraiture.
