Miss Kate Beaton - Kate, aged 19, is the elder daughter of Mr and Mrs John Beaton, of Newlands, Glasgow. She is in her first year reading International Relations with French at St Andrews, and recently modelled in the St Andrews Charity Fashion Show-she is pictured here at St Andrews on the West Sands in a dress designed by Claire Alexander.
