Miss Alison Poole - Alison, pictured here in a 1958 BMW bubble car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is the elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Alec Poole, of Fewcott, Oxfordshire. She graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in geography, and is now working for Addison-Ross, a marketing and design company.

This is an authentic original page from Country Life magazine, part of the iconic series often affectionately referred to as the “Girls in Pearls” portraits — elegant society images that captured a distinctive era of British publishing and portraiture.
