Miss Mollie Hughes - Mollie, aged 21, is the elder daughter of Mr David Hughes and Mrs Jane Spreckley, both of Torbay, south Devon. After graduating in Psychology with Sports Biology at the University of the West of England, Bristol, Mollie began training to become the youngest British woman to summit Everest-she will begin her climb in April.

Mollie Hughes is widely recognized for her record-breaking expeditions to Mount Everest and the South Pole: Mount Everest: In 2017, at the age of 26, she became the youngest woman in the world (and the first English woman) to successfully summit Mount Everest from both the north and south sides. South Summit: Reached on May 19, 2012, at age 21. North Summit: Reached on May 16, 2017. South Pole: On January 10, 2020, at age 29, she became the youngest woman to ski solo from the coast of Antarctica to the geographic South Pole. The 702-mile journey took 58.5 days of solo skiing. Scouts Scotland: On December 1, 2020, she was appointed the first female president of Scouts Scotland.

Mollie is currently a motivational speaker focusing on resilience and mindset, and serves as a director for the adventure company Ocean Vertical.
