Miss Flora Blackett - Flora, elder daughter of Captain and Mrs Beauchamp Blackett of Dumfriesshire, is engaged to be married to Tom de Winton, younger son of Mr Anthony de Winton of Aberdeenshire and Mrs Clare de Winton of Angus. Educated at Tudor Hall, Flora trained at the Charles H. Cecil studios in Florence, Italy, and now specialises in portraiture and wildlife paintings and drawings. She will be exhibiting at the Animal Art Fair in London next week.
