A rare group of early 19th-century French departmental card maps by Bourrut-Le Meri, published in Paris around 1819. These finely engraved cards formed part of an educational geographical series covering the departments of France.
This collection features examples from the scarce first edition, with each card showing an individual French department together with detailed geographical information. The cards are over 200 years old and retain the character and patina expected of genuine antique material.
