Antique Botanical Print of Wild Flowers, 1914 John Sowerby Cotton Grass, White Sedge, Hand-Coloured Flower Plate (1401 to 1420)

This beautifull hand coloured botanical plate is from a book on British wild flowers illustrated by John Sowerby. This plated being from an edition published in 1914. These plates were all hand finished in colour. A very time consuming job I would imagine.

There is a page of text that will accompany this print that describes each of the 20 plants.

The size of page is approx. 9.5 x 6.1 inches.
