• Moyra Eileen Montagu Douglas Scott (1919–2011): She served with the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY) during the Second World War and was later known by her married names, Mrs Hugo Douglas Tweedie and Lady Smiley.
• Lord Francis Scott: A son of the 6th Duke of Buccleuch, he was a decorated soldier and a prominent figure in colonial Kenya.
• Lady Francis Scott (Eileen Elliot): Daughter of the 4th Earl of Minto, a former Viceroy of India, she was active in the social and political life of Kenya.
