The featured frontispiece this week is a portrait of Henry Hugh Arthur FitzRoy Somerset, 10th Duke of Beaufort (1900–1984), shown with his hounds. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest fox-hunters of the twentieth century and served as Master of the Beaufort Hunt for 60 years, earning the nickname “Master”.
