Miss Mary Wakefield - Mary, aged 25, is the daughter of Sir Humphry Wakefield, Bt, and the Hon Lady Wakefield, of Chillingham Castle, Northumberland. Photographed here wearing family jewellery, Mary graduated from Edinburgh University with a degree in philosophy, and is now a journalist on The Daily Telegraph. She recently won The Spectator's Shiva Naipaul literary prize.
