Manesson Mallet Malta Map 1683 1st ed
This antique map of Malta is titled Isle de Malthe and is from Description de L’Univers first published in 1683 by Allain Manesson Mallet. Description de L’Univers was a five volume work and contained approx 677 maps, plans, views and engravings covering the whole world and also the planets, stars and solar system. Truly a monumental work and if you can find a complete set in good condition expect to have to pay around $20,000 for them.
